Form 39-304D Files Dataset

Form 39-304D filings contain applications for exemptive relief under Section 304(d) of the Trust Indenture Act of 1939. This provision authorizes the SEC to grant, by individual order, exemptions from the Act's indenture qualification requirements upon application by an interested party. The dataset includes all Form 39-304D and Form 39-304D/A filings submitted to EDGAR from November 2002 to present. Form 39-304D/A filings represent amendments to previously filed applications. For each accession number, a metadata file and all documents in the original EDGAR submission are included except image files. Each filing typically contains the applicant's name and address, a statement of relevant facts supporting the exemption request, a justification for the relief sought, and a discussion of any expected benefit to security holders, trustees, or obligors under the indenture.
