Form 40-8FC Files Dataset

Form 40-8FC filings represent Commission-issued orders withdrawing the registration of an investment company pursuant to Section 8(f) of the Investment Company Act of 1940. The submission type is used when the SEC, on its own motion, declares that a registered investment company has ceased to be an investment company, terminating its registration without an application from the registrant. The dataset includes all Form 40-8FC and Form 40-8FC/A filings submitted to EDGAR from October 2002 to present. Form 40-8FC/A filings represent amendments to previously issued orders. For each accession number, a metadata file and all documents in the original EDGAR submission are included except image files. Each filing typically contains the Commission order, the name and CIK of the affected registrant, the Investment Company Act file number, and the effective date of deregistration.
