Form CERTNAS is a certification filed by the Nasdaq Stock Market with the SEC to confirm approval of a security for listing and registration. It is submitted pursuant to Section 12(d) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 12d1-1 thereunder, which governs the effectiveness of exchange certifications for securities registration on national securities exchanges. The dataset includes all Form CERTNAS filings submitted to EDGAR from August 2006 to present. For each accession number, a metadata file and all documents in the original EDGAR submission are included except image files. Each filing typically contains the name of the issuer, the title and class of the security being certified for listing, the exchange on which the security is approved for trading, and the effective date of the listing certification.
