Third party cloud infrastructure cost, including AI inference and GPUs, rose $113.6m in Q2 FY2027 within cost of product revenue and $42.5m within research and development. Consumption patterns
Product revenue rose $401.4m in Q2 FY2027, attributed primarily to existing customers. Customers "optimize consumption", now including "optimizing AI usage", wording added since the 10-K. Management expects NRR to decrease over the long term as older cohorts become a larger share.10-Q Item 2, 4 Sep 2026; 10-K Item 7, 20 Mar 2026
Contract duration and RPO
Shortened contract duration is listed among customer responses to budget pressure. RPO is described as influenced by timing and size of renewals, contract terms and seasonality.10-Q Item 2, 4 Sep 2026

Earnings callTopicWhat management said
2 Sep 2026, Q2 FY2027
RPO and bookingsCFO said about 54% of RPO converts within 12 months, implying growth of about 42% in that portion, and that bookings are increasingly weighted towards Q4 as customers favour Q4 renewals.

AI contributionCEO said AI products, among them CoCo and CoWork, contributed about half of the acceleration in product revenue growth.
2 Sep 2026, Q2 FY2027
Gross marginCFO attributed the 74% product gross margin guidance to a higher mix of AI workloads, which carry lower contribution margin today.
2 Sep 2026, Q2 FY2027
Guidance basis and headcountCFO said guidance rests on observed consumption with unchanged method and includes about 1 point of growth from Observe. Headcount rose 334 in H1 FY2027, of which 173 from Observe, against 935 a year earlier.
27 May 2026, Q1 FY2027
ObserveManagement said Observe added less than 1 point to Q1 growth and lowers full year margin and FCF margin by about 150 basis points.
25 Feb 2026, Q4 FY2026
Large dealsCFO said Q4 included the largest contract in company history, above $400m with an existing customer, and seven contracts of nine figures against two a year earlier.
25 Feb 2026, Q4 FY2026
Stock based compensationManagement said SBC fell from 41% of revenue in FY2025 to 34% in FY2026 and is expected at 27% in FY2027.
25 Feb 2026, Q4 FY2026
