Key findings
  • Q3 2026 total revenues $8.30bn, +6.8%; product sales $8.29bn, +12.9%. Q3 2025 included $400m of previously constrained IP sale revenue in royalty, contract and other revenue, which was $11m in Q3 2026. • Acquired IPR&D explains the TTM net loss. TTM Q3 2026 revenues $30.99bn; acquired IPR&D $11.85bn (Q2 2026: Arcellx $7.0bn, Tubulis $3.1bn, Ouro $1.0bn net of the $860m Lakefront share; Q4 2025 $539m) and IPR&D impairments $2.15bn ($1.75bn Trodelvy lung cancer asset in Q2 2026, $400m bulevirtide in Q4 2025) turn $11.64bn of operating income before these charges into an operating loss of ($2.36bn). Acquired IPR&D is not tax deductible, so tax expense was $1.33bn on a pre tax loss of ($2.53bn); net loss ($3.86bn), diluted EPS ($3.16). Gilead keeps acquired IPR&D in non GAAP results: TTM non GAAP EPS ($0.31).

Stated on the Q3 2026 call: about $1.5bn net revenue effect in 2028, with total HIV revenue still expected to grow. US generic entry not before 1 Apr 2036 under the Oct 2025 settlements.
